RNC Genter Capital Management, an independent investment advisory firm located in West Los Angeles, seeks a motivated and experienced credit analyst with expertise in the analysis of municipal securities.

The candidate must have 8+ years successfully providing research on credits, with a total understanding of trading and relative value for the various security types and structures. The individual will be involved in the selection / retention process of our team approach in the management of client portfolios.

The candidate must be a well organized self-starter with excellent written, verbal and computer skills. Experience with BondEdge and the FIN System is a plus. CFA / MBA desirable.

Senior Director - Global Infrastructure Group - Transportation

Fitch Ratings is seeking a senior credit analyst with 10 or more years transportation related experience, with an emphasis in the airport and seaport sectors. Position has high visibility in the U.S muni market and the PPP space in North and South America.

Responsibilities will primarily include:

  • Leading the airport/seaport team within the Americas transportation group.
  • Developing a presence as a market leader in evaluating innovative credit structures and assessing the impact of new credit trends and issues.
  • Identifying credit trends and addressing relevant issues in updated criteria reports, and industry and market
  • focused special reports and presentations
  • Overseeing credit analysts and ratings processes, and ensuring high quality analysis and research. Performing credit-specific analysis, as needed.
  • At the behest of Fitch business development staff, meeting with new market participants and issuers of debt not rated by Fitch to discuss Fitch's analytical approach and credit expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in finance, business or public administration is preferred.
  • High-quality writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven analytical ability, including quantitative skills, within transportation or other public and project finance areas.

The incumbent will also play a global role in credit criteria development and application as a senior member of Fitch's Global Infrastructure and Project Finance team. Fitch's transportation group is rapidly growing and, covers over 200 public and private entities, including project finance transactions, in the Americas.

The position may be located in New York, Chicago or San Francisco.
